Today I went to bitnodes.io to check about Bitcoin nodes, but couldn't find my node on it. Turns out that I was running a non-listening node all along. Although the option "allow incoming connections" was ticked, inbound connection was not possible as I had a dynamic IP and no port forwarding.
So I got my ISP to stop CGNAT and set up the port forwarding. Now the node is finally a listening node and have inbound connections. Very happy!
Will try to set up TOR in the future for better privacy.
